Play was designated to begin at 8 pm but was help off a few minutes when Alpha-Flaggot Adam Reynolds showed late. The match was originally contested as 6 on ten, but when more and more honors students showed (presumably after hearing Dan Maher would make this his CTF debut) 1022 agreed to take Mike and Adam Brooks. 

Visiting, 1022 placed their flag in the Brown zone in the fountain in front of Old Main. The hosting Jihad took the orange sector and placed their flag in a tree on the lawn east of Gammage.

The match was pretty solid and most rules were well enforced. Though the Jihad often failed to return their freed prisoners to their flag before resuming play, the gameplay rested rather fair. The Jihad was able to remove the 1022 skull n crossbones flag twice but each time failed to get it out of the sector. The only time 1022 got the Jihad flag, they returned it to their base for the win.

The total death count incurre by the 23 or so players in unclear but likely rests around 40 with a large majority of kills being administerred by the men on Ash.

Adam Reynolds declined multiple interview requests but posted about the match on SuperAJ.Com where he made a claim that the the Ash Team must have cheated to win. However, he has brought no official accusations of cheating to GonnaGitYourKid.Tripod.Com officials. 1022 captain David Hohman gave only a few minuted for interview before going home. He told us, "I think we played well. We picked up a couple of good guys there and I think if we'd had even more depth their legions wouldn't have even been a factor. But even tonight, Jeff was all up in their heads and AJ was doing circles around them and I think our whole team just ouplayed them, at least 2-to-1. "  

This brings the overall record between these teams to 2-1, with the Jihad having only won the first game. Neither teams next match-up is scheduled yet.     

The match was offically declared, "on" when Gonnagityourkid.tripod.com discovered that teammate Jeremy 'Big Baby' Cramer stole balls from the 1022 house prior to their last match. GGYK.T.C officials wanted to add a loss to the nerds' records as punishment but 1022 captain David Hohman refused to allow the sentence to follow through, claiming that, "on the 12th, we'll take care of it."

When asked about his change in order from the last match, Reynolds told GGYK.T.C, "I think evening up the teams was a poor decision on my part. In the future, we will show no mercy no matter how small our opponents' team is. Also, we have a larger arseno0l of balls and I think that will help us."

1022's Jeff Dodge also noted a new strategy; "Yeah, we're gonna run a few more trick plays and this time, since we will have more balls i suspect we will have an easier time making that Jeremy kid cry like a small child because we took his flag. pussy."

Gun goes off at 8 pm at the MU fountain.    

First, the parking garage is no longer a flag placement area. Nothing will replace it though sections are stil up for dicussion.

Second, rather than having certain flag placing areas for teams to choose from, the map is now broken into pre-determined area-combinations noted by their colour. This will allow teams to go directly back to their flag at the start of the game rather than 'accidently' bumping into their opponents base first. The flag will be placed on the ground floors in these areas and must be in a resonably visable/captuable place (i.e...not thirty feet up a palm tree if no ladder is preesent). The host team is responsible for telling the visitors their section before meeting to play, allowing the visitors to note their section at the meeting prior to the match. These sections can be found on the rules page.

Third, because certain people like to play ignorant, he official start of the game will be changed. The teams will start on their respectable sides of the jail. At the go, teams will head directly back to their section and will meet at their own flag to initiate play.  

Forth, the jails have been moved. The home team's jail (where they're opponents go) will now be be at the fountain by the buissness building (South of MU) and the visitor's jail will be at the MU fountain.
